FA To Consider Cardiff City for Euro

The F.A. will discuss old rules preventing them from nominating the Bluebirds for European football, should City win the FA Cup having reached the semi-final stage for the first time since 1927.

Historically, Cardiff City would not be eligible to repressent the F.A. as it falls under the jurisdiction of the F.A.W. instead who decide on club issues including registration and the appeals process.

Now however, the F.A. are to re-consider their stance and may yet nominate the Bluebirds on the backing of influential ally Michel Platini, president of UEFA, who recently spoke out in Cardiff City’s cause.

Of course, this issue has been known for some time but never really seemed to much of a problem. Cardiff City’s cup run has suprised Bluebirds and football fans alike but the problem has now become a possibility.
