Evans Wondergoal Beats Cardiff

Norwich City grabbed a last gasp winner courtesy of a 30 yard wondergoal by Welsh U21s star Ched Evans.

Evans put The Canaries ahead in the first half after some neat touches. However Cardiff came back strongly and equalised on the stroke of half time after Ledley robbed Gary Doherty and Gavin Rae swept home.

The second half was a drab affair and the game seemed to be heading for the draw until Evans broke from halfway and thumped home a superb strike from way out. Whilst the Canaries didn’t deserve to win the game, that goal was worthy of winning any contest.

Consecutive defeats for Cardiff City, another win to continue Norwich City’s impressive form.

Good idea to have YOUNG and FAST shooting forwards isn’t it? We rely upon a ‘converted’ winger and Jimmy Floyd .. bye bye play-offs ..

bye bye playoffs theres a good fan uh. we are 2/3 points away from the play-offs. and the emergancy loan opens soon. think of all the classy, young fast, potential strikers we could loan. so play offs doesnt seem soo far away

Think its the mentality gtsutton is referring to, we’re still in a good position but we just dont seem to want it enough. Game was there for the taking but we were awful second half and made no substitutions for the ineffectual players – stronger squad? only if you use them Dave.
