Eddie On Target For Cardiff City (Reserves!)

Cardiff City’s on-loan striker Eddie Johnson has not exactly impressed since joining from Fulham. He has looked short of quality, form and confidence and is yet to score for the first time.

However, there have been some signs that he can do a job for us and the USA International has now hit goals in consecutive reserve team games yesterday helping the 2nd XI to a 2-1 win over Hereford United.

Johnson scored one and hit the bar as a strong looking reserve outfit beat the Bulls. Riccy Scimeca got the other with a free-kick.

Cardiff City are in the market for another striker to support Bothroyd and McCormack. A move for one Presmiership striker was rejected and until Eddie proves himself as an adequate back-up we need to keep looking.
