Cardiff City will include new signing Sololon Taiwon in the matchday squad to face Doncaster Rovers but will have to be content with a place on the bench, most likely alongside Stephen McPhail with the Rae/Ledley partnership set to continue.

Kelvin Etuhu will also feature on the bench but Captain Mark Hudson and Jay Bothroyd will return to the starting line-up. Ross McCormack remains sidelined with a torn hamstring.

With McNaughton still injured, Dave Jones will face a difficult decision regarding his full-backs. Quinn diod not look comfortable on the left so could revert to right back meaning no place for impressive teenager Adam Matthews. That would allow Mark Kennedy or Tony Capaldi to return on the left.

One player who wont be available is youngster Darcy Blake who has joined Plymouth Argyle on loan.

Doncaster Rovers will be without striker Steve Brooker and Stuart Elliott, both of whom have ankle injuries while fellow forward James Coppinger is suffering from acute tendonitis.

Veteran defender Jason Shackell is set to return while Dene Shiels, Paul Heffernan and Quinton Fortune are all pushing for starting positions.
