Chris Killen is reportedly undergoing a medical and set to sign for Glasgow Celtic today after the Scottish Giants moved at the last minute to snatch the player from Cardiff City.

The striker last week spoke of his impending move to Cardiff City:

‘I’ve spoken to Cardiff and hopefully everything will be sorted this week. I still have my medical to come, but we have agreed personal terms. I want to be part of exciting times there.’

It now seems that the late interest from Gordon Strachan has brought on a change of heart and persuaded the Kiwi to remain in the SPL.

There was always going to be competition for a highly-rated prolific striker avaliable for no money but Cardiff looked to have landed their man and may need to act fast to bring in an alternative.

showstopper is clearly a person of culture and refinement to post such an eloquent, pithy and well argued judgement.

Get real. Cardiff City v Celtic. No contest.

it depends tho. week in week out championship is better than SPL in quality but he may feel its worth it for the big European games and Rangers/Hearts games. His international place is safe too i guess
