Cardiff City’s on-loan midfielder Simon Walton has posted a foul mouthed tirade about the club on a networking website.

Posting on the popular ‘MySpace’ site, Simon Walton responded to a Leeds fan who needed Cardiff to get a victory over Hull to save Leeds from relegation. Walton’s unwholesome reply will do little to help his tarnished reputation after a woeful spell in South Wales.

Known for a poor temperament, Walton failed to add anything to the Cardiff squad following a loan from Charlton Athletic. He made several appearances but looked poor and was dismissed twice, including a dubious red card against his former club Leeds Utd.

F***in cardiff the c****!!! Wish i would stop gettin shit for it tho cos dont even play for them anymore. But still we (Leeds Utd) needed to win our game and we didnt!

Possibly the comment was just banter intended only for his friend. But to post obscenities in the public domain is unprofessional and pretty poor form. Walton’s spell in Cardiff was ended when he picked up a 5 match suspension after a reckless challenge against Sheffield Wednesday, Dave Jones confirming there would be no permanent move for the player.
