Cardiff City’s transfer listed striker Steve Thompson scored the sixth highest tally of all Championship players this week in the Actim Index, the official player rating system of the Coca-Cola Leagues.
Thompson scored against Hull, only his second of the season but amassed 54 points meaning that he rose 116 places, the second biggest mover in the division.
Thompson looked poor in the 2-0 defeat against Charlton Athletic, and although starved of service will be disappointed to have had such little impact on the game.
The Cardiff City players have struggled on the pitch all season, and this is reflected in the Actim Index with only Paul Parry being listed in the top 100. At a similar point last season, Cardiff had 5 or 6 players in the top twenty. How things change.

lets not give away free kicks then
what position is he?
Right winger…but when he’s good he’s great….but when he’s bad he’s awful…even are manager said how unpredictable he is….has scored 7 goals this season….5 have been direct free-kicks….
