Cardiff’s Parry out of Wales game

Paul Parry will miss the European Championship 2008 qualifier after suffering an ankle injury during the win over Birmingham City. Parry has been inspired form for City this season and is producing his most exciting and consistent form in years. His withdrawal is a shame for Parry but is regarded only as a precaution which at least means he shouldn’t get further injury and will be available for Cardiff’s game at Deepdale against Preston North End.

Parry would have been on the bench most likely and his replacement will probably be Wrexham’s Marc Jones or David Cotterill of Bristol City although Jason Koumas could possibly be called up. Koumas was left out of the original squad having not played any games this season and not participated in any pre-season training regime.

Cardiff’s Joe Ledley however is in line for a starting place in Tochack’s team after an outstanding start to the season and currently leads the OPTA statistics rankings for the Championship.

Ex-Bluebirds Danny Gabbidon, James Collins and Robert Earnshaw are all in line to play.

has kamara or mckoy played any games yet

  • bluebirdshroom says:

yes. Kamara started against Leeds and looked decent. Both played in Carling Cup defeat to Barnet

do you think they will break into your team because they didnt break into rs last season and havent played many games

kamara looks to have a chance, he’s supremely confident and offers something else so could well get on the bench. Can’t see either of them starting too many games.
