Cardiff’s Feeney in Swansea Loan

Cardiff City’s Warren Feeney has taken up a 4-month loan move to rivals Swansea City.

The Northern Irishman started the season in attack but has failed to score this season, or in any of his appearances last year for the Bluebirds. He has fallen down the striking order at Cardiff City, with Jones preferring Paul Parry in attack of late and Feeney would now have to contend with the high profile names of Robbie Fowler and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

With substitutes appearances, never mind starts, likely to be limited, Feeney agreed a late loan to ‘our friends down West’ and will link up with the Jacks until Christmas.

Feeney is a tough player and a hard worker. He should be applauded for his work-rate and endeavor but he desperately needs goals. Swansea lost former fans favourite Lee Trundle but have the in-form Jason Scotland established in the side.
