Cardiff City winger Paul Parry won his 6th cap as part of an attacking Welsh midfield as they fought out a 0-0 stalemate against Northern Ireland.

Parry has figured mostly in a right wing berth for City this season and has impressed with some tricky performances. Although primarily left-footed, Parry is comfortable coming inside or outside of his man and this has given his play a new dimension under Dave Jones.

Parry started the game on the right for Wales, with Crewe’s David Vaughan on the left but Parry did switch over to the left later in the game before being substituted 10 minutes from the end.

‘When I finish my career I can look back and say how many caps I got’

‘So every one is as important to me as the first. At this stage every cap is a bonus.’
