Cardiff City winger Malvin Kamara, whose Bluebirds contract had recently expired, has linked up with Huddersfield Town on a 2-year deal.

The player spent only one season at Ninian Park after moveing from MK Dons. He started well and was selected ahead of Willo Flood as competition for the right wing berth increased.

Kamara made a number of appearances for the Bluebirds, the majority from the substitutes bench. A tall and direct winger he looked confident and powerful, an was able to beat his man on a number of occasions.

The highlight of Kamara’s time with Cardiff was a sweet finish to a good team move as we demolished Wolves 4-0 at Ninian Park. Kamara shot neatly into the bottom corner from 20 yards.

Kamara joined Port Vale for the second half of the season and helped them towards a play-off place although the Valiants just fell short. He recently made his deput for Sierra Leone.

We wish Malvin all the best for the future, he gave 100% in his appearances for Cardiff and showed a great all round character.
