The deal cormirming the proposed takeover of Cardiff City Football Club by unknown ‘hedge fund’ investors was agreed on Friday when former chairman Sam Hammam agreed to dilute his shares and vote in favour of the takover in clubs AGM in January.

The deal looked to have hit problems with Hammam storming out of the talks and feeling that his achievements at Cardiff were being belittled. After a turbulent week off the field, matters look to have been resolved and the new stadium project has now been given the final green light by Cardiff County Council.

Dave Jones revealed that his future would be jeopardised at the club should Hammam remain in charge as well as the stability and future of Cardiff City.

Thankfully these matters can now be put to bed and the foxus re-applied to on-field matters after a poor run of form which has seen City slide from the top of the Championship and affect from and mmorale of the player and fans alike.
