Cardiff Starlet Out On Loan

Cardiff City’s pacy striker Matt Green has moved on loan to Coca-Cola league 2 side Darlington for an initial 1 month period.


The youngster has had few chances since moving to City from Newport County but has shown potential and possesses a great deal of pace. He is unlikely to get much first team action at Cardiff with Fowler, Hasselbaink, Thompson and Parry all ahead of him for the two striker positions so a loan deal is seen as the best way to further his progression.


Hopefully Matt can get some gametime and goals under his belt with the Quakers
