Cardiff City could be set to land experienced right winger Trevor Sinclair to bolster their numbers for next season.

The former England man’s contract expired at Manchester City at the end of last season and Cardiff are on of a few clubs interested in bringing him to the Championship.

It seems that Cardiff are leading the chase with Sinclair expected at Ninian Park today for a medical with a view to signing a 1 year deal with the Bluebirds.

Although 34, it is thought Sinclair could add to the Bluebirds team. That area certainly needs strengthening and he did play a part in Man City’s Premiership season last year – making 19 league appearances for the Citizens.
