Cardiff City Chairman Peter Ridsdale may be set for a sensational exit from the club.
Following yesterday’s news that the stadium project is now unconditional, Ridsdale refused to rule out that he may now be leaving the club.
Ridsdale came to Cardiff City amid serious financial trouble and the club has made impressive progress on and off the field since his arrival. The project was about restoring the reputation of the man blamed for Leeds United’s demise.
Speaking to Real Radio about the possibility of him leaving, Ridsdale confirmed:
‘It’s something I have to reflect on.’
‘It (the stadium project) was the task I was asked to achieve.’
No timescale was given for any departure, nor was a departure confirmed but the timing is strange. The stadium is now a reality but Ridsdale has been working closely with Dave Jones to bring in new players and has gone public about transfer budgets for next season.
Peter may feel its ‘job done’ but there’s plenty more to come in Cardiff City’s future.

Best signing we made in many years.
Ridsdale has money invested in the club, I’m sure he’ll want to see a return AFTER the stadium is built.
i would have thought he would want to carry on his so far good work … especially after the leeds disaster !
He’s not leaving, enjoying himself too much – specially as leeds hate us !
