Cardiff City became the first team into the final 32 of this year’s FA Cup as they came from a goal down to beat non-league Chasetown yesterday.

That put us into the draw for the 4th round of the cup, to be held Monday at 1.30pm on BBC2.

Manchester United and Chelsea are already through, while Arsenal and Liverpool have yet to play their 3rd round ties. Swansea City will also be in the draw, but have to play a tricky tie away at non-league Havant and Waterlooville after being held to a 1-1 draw.

This is the first time in 8 years we have reached this stage of the competition, beating Leeds United that day. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have knocked us out the last two years, hopefully we can grab another plum tie after giving a good account in those games, and in a narrow defeat to Liverpool in the Carling Cup this season.

Check back later for news of our opponents.
