Cardiff City play West Bromwich Albion in a big Championship match this weekend. The Bluebirds are on an excellent run at the moment but in WBA, they face an excellent side, with realistic promotion aspirations and a talented squad. Away from home, this will be diffficult for Cardiff City.

West Brom were forced to replay their third round FA Cup tie against Charlton Athletic last night, something neither manager would have hoped for. The Baggies took a 2-0 lead, but some slack defending allowed the Addicks to draw level.

The game went to extra time, and then penalties which West Brom eventually won 4-3.

The 120 minutes in midweek will affect the Baggies, and hopefully their players may be a little jaded, making it easier for City to get a result. Important defender Paul Robinson picked up a red card at the weekend, but sat out his one match suspension last night and is available for the Cardiff game at the weekend.
