Cardiff City’s top transfer target and subject of intense media hype, Robbie Fowler, is still yet to decide on his future but is receiving more interest as the offers roll in.

The Bluebirds have put together an atttractive package based around appearances, goals and possible promotion. Fowler has intimated that the offer is acceptable and with a small fortune already earnt – the emphasis is on ambition and pride rather than purely on wages.

Although still one of the favourites for Fowler’s signiture, Cardiff City face stiff competition as Fowler considers the 8 solid offers available to him. Glasgow Rangers have also emerged as an option but already have a wealth of strikers available to them.

Leicester City and Sydney FC are also front-runners and Fowler will be taking his family into consideration regarding any move. The Vale of Glamorgan has long been an asset in drawing players to Cardiff and in Peter Ridsdale and Dave Jones they have a dynamic and ambitious approach which could well tempt Fowler.

Fowler’s agent sounded a warning to fans not to expect a rushed decision and encouraged patience. George Scott told the Western Mail:

‘Robbie`s got six weeks really and there is no saying he won`t take that time before putting pen to paper and finally decide where he`s going.’

“As I say, offers are coming in all the time and there is the option there to wait until more clubs come in and decide then.’

he needs to make a decision sooner rather than later so he can join in pre-season training and create that bond with his new team mates. its no use him making his mind up at the end of august – he’s not that big a catch these days that clubs should wait that long for him.
