Cardiff City’s goalkeeper David Forde has moved to Luton Town on a month’s loan.

The Irishman was a January recruit for the Bluebirds, but the arrival or Ross Turnbull on loan from Middlesborough FC and the signing of ex Wolverhampton Wanderers veteran Andy Oakes have limited Forse’s first team opportunities.

Luton Town boss Kevin Blackwell needed cover after regular keeper Dean Brill was hurt in a training ground accident.

Forde made his debut for the Hatters in a 3-1 victory for LTFC. He was rarely tested as the Hatters dominated the match, although he had no chance with Gillinham’s goal.
