With endless stories about Inter Milan wanting a loan first and then maybe permanent move later for Gary Medel, chairman Mehmet Dalman has built on his earlier words about any possible departure for the Chilean by stating publicly that Cardiff have named their price to potential suitors, and that price won’t be changed.
With Cardiff looking for at least a return of £10million for the player who shined on World Cup duty, Milan have failed so far to get anywhere near that fee it seems, and this has alerted Galatasaray who recently entered the fray for his signature.
There is now also a German side, who remain unnamed, who have made an enquiry.
In quotes carried by Wales Online Dalman has said recently.
‘We are not going to take a loss on a player who was a World Cup star in Brazil. We have made it clear what our price is and that won’t change. We will do the right thing for Cardiff City and the player. Our position has not changed. There are clubs interested in him, but we have not reached agreement with anybody so far. We will not take a loss on a player who did so well for Chile in Brazil.’
Clearly a pay up or….instruction.
