Cardiff City looked to have pulled off somewhat of a transfer coup with highly sought after Scottish striker Ross McCormack.

The 21 year old has agreed terms and completed a medical in South Wales with only the paperwork yet to finalise. He moves with a sparkling reputation and bags of potential after impressing at previous club Motherwell.

McCormack will cost City £100k as he is under 24, and was offered a deal at Motherwell but his value appears far higher and he has attracted attention from the Premiership and Championship whilst Nottingham Forest thought they had persuaded him to join their club.

More to follow….
