Cardiff City will be one of four teams competing in an ‘Algarve Cup’ as part of our pre-season training for the 2008-09 season.
Of the four teams taking part, Cardiff City are the least well known but the FA Cup run has brought the Bluebirds to the attention of many – and the profile of the club has soared.
Glasgow Celtic have also confirmed their participation while Porto and Middlesbrough are also expected to commit shortly.
The tournament will be held, unsuprisingly, in Portugal in mid-July giving Bluebirds followers another chance to visit the region after build up to this season last summer.
