Cardiff City’s FA Cup 4th round clash against Arsenal has been switched to Sunday 25th January, kick-off 1.30pm in order to accomodate live TV coverage on Setanta Sports.

Selection for TV coverage will net Cardiff City an extra fee, thought to be around £150k although not yet finalised. That money is extremely welcome and the Bluebirds budget to exit the competition at the third round stage meaning the TV fee, FA money and gate receipts will be an unexpected bonus – adding up to over £500k.

Arsenal fans will be taking up the ENTIRE Grange End after negotiating a large allocation, meaning Grange End regulars will move to the Bob Bank and the game is certain to be a 20,000 sell-out.

Ambassadors will be given first choice on tickets for the Arsenal game and unless a good number decline to attend – there are likely to be very few tickets remaining for other Cardiff City fans. We’ll keep you posted as soon as the arrangements are released.

    The entire Grange End? Wow.
The extra 500k will certainly come in handy.
Here’s hoping we can knock the Gunners out!
