Cardiff City fans are almost resigned to the fact that teenage prodigy Aaron Ramsey will be leaving this summer. Although disappointing, there are few clubs that can resist the buying power of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur to name but a few already linked with the young Welsh midfielder.
However, there is some good news with bids from Liverpool and Arsenal already rejected by the club who are finally in a financial position such that any substantial bid does not HAVE to be accepted.
Whether the rejected bids are indicative of a favoured move to Manchester United, we cannot be sure yet but the money offered has been significant yet insufficient for one of the most talented young players in the country.
The best Cardiff City can hope for is a bidding war to push the price up, followed by a big money move which would see Ramsey loaned back to us for next season.

Don’t know too much about the lad, but if what I’ve heard is true then i hope Gunter can have a little word in his ear and persuade him the way of Spurs… I’d have no problem in us getting on a 5 yr contract and loaning him back to Cardiff for 2 seasons so he can come back to us as an Experienced 19yr old. If Man Utd come calling though it’s gonna be difficult to persuade him to go anywhere else, I honestly don’t think there is a better place for a young footballer to learn his trade!
By the way, congrats on your FA Cup run, it was great to see, and it made for a better cup final than last years battle of the big 2…

Certainly one for the future, another in a long line of players that will opt out of doing his present club service, and move onto a Premier League team, where he’ll be playing reserve football, what a pity.
