Cardiff City are reportedly considering a bid for Crystal Palace striker James Scowcroft.
The former Ipswich Town and Leicester City player made 38 appearances for the Eagles last term, scoring 9 goals.
Cardiff City are known to be keen to add 2 new strikers to the current squad. FC Dallas’ Kenny Cooper is a prime target as the ‘big number 9’ while Scowcroft could also do a job as support to Ross McCormack.
Palace would want a fee for the 32 year old, possibly in the region of £400k. There is some money available to Dave Jones, but he may choose to use the majority on his 1st target rather than paying for a 32 year old. There are a number of players currently under consideration and Scowcroft is just one of these.

looks like birmingham will have a new striker in a few days haa
As if birmingham would want snowcroft. As if we would either for that matter..
i see the philosophy here. be linked with bad strikers so birmingham spends thier money on ***** players. genius!
Let’s hope you do sign him… We’ve also been liked to him… WE DON”T WANT HIM..
Still knows where the net is.
