Cardiff City are one of several clubs keeping a close watch on Leyton Orient goalkeeper Glyn Garner.
The 30 year old Welsh stopper, whose deal expires in the summer, is currently in negotiation with Orient over a new deal but Cardiff City as well as Swansea City and Sheffield Wednesday are showing an interest.
Cardiff manager Dave Jones is in the market for a new goalkeeper with this season’s Number 1 Neil Alexander leaving at the end of the season, leaving Irishman David Forde as the only senior goalkeeper.
Although an uninspiring potential signing, Garner would be available on a free transfer and although considered erratic is an experienced goalkeeper with one International cap for Wales.
Surely only a short term stop-gap as a back-up???

How in any way can that be an im povement on Alexander? OK he’s got faults, but he cant be demanding huge wages and he’s a proven keeper and excellent most of the season. This would be a massive step backwards.
Didnt he do some miraculous penalty saving record or something? Orient arent really the sort of club we shud b lookin at for 30 year old keepers tho
