Cardiff City have been hit by more injury woes and are still unable to strenghten until the HMRC debt is paid.

Following Riccy Scimeca’s retirement – our midfield has been weak for some time. Gavin Rae has a hamstring injry while Stephen McPhail hasn’t trained for three months after undergoing cancer treatment.

Kelvin Etuhu’s ankle problems are still ongoing while promising youngster Josh Magennis has broken his leg. A virus had been sweeping through the squad with Mark Kennedy, Jay Bothroyd and Ross McCormack all struggling.

Add to that list the names of Mark Hudson, Kevin McNaughton, Solomon Taiwo, Adam Matthews and Aaron Wildig who have all picked up injuries over the weekend !

The Bluebirds will send a patched up XI to face Bristol City tomorrow, with only Joe Ledley available in central midfield and needing two hip operations!
