Cardiff City Fans For or Against Paul Parry?

Following Paul Parry’s suprising decision to quit International football after a turbulent week with Wales, where does that leave him in the hearts of Cardiff City fans?

Plenty of fans, pundits and players alike will have their opinions on the matter, especially as Parry had been out of the International fold for 18 months for ‘personal reasons’. Toshack showed patience to Parry during that period, and for the player to walk out after just one game in which he didn’t play seems unbelievable.

I have spoken to Cardiff City fans intent on booing Parry at this Saturday’s game against Bristol City. They see his actions as petulent, precious and disloyal and he has upset many Bluebirds fans who, after all, make up many of the Wales support aswell.

Others are more understanding of Parry’s plight, and see it as his choice. Of course, anything could have happened behind the scenes and Toshack does have an uncanny way of alienating certain players.

Some fans were perfectly happy, with their priority being Cardiff City – it was thought he will be more committed and focussed on his club football and a better Bluebirds player for it.

A POLL is now open for you to leave your views on the Paul Parry saga. Leave your comment, or vote on the right side of the screen.

Personally, I was suprised by Parry’s decision and think he should have shown more respect. However, there is absolutely no way that, when a Cardiff City player (virtually our longest serving), takes to the pitch I would boo him. Parry will be given the generous applluase every other important, and in-form player gets.

Parry is a Bluebird. End of.

Agreed. Any booing should be met with ‘Paul Parry’. Hope he scores a hat-trick!
