Cardiff City Fail To Pay Staff Wages

Cardiff City`s players and staff have not been paid on time this month, continuing the trend of uncertainty over payment of wages dating back several months when emergency funds were transferred from our Malaysian backer TG and his consortium.

There appears to be no real problem, and the delay will be a minor one down to routine re-distribution of funds following the investment from TG. However, this is an indication that the said investment is no quick fix and that the ghosts of Peter Ridsdale and his legacy, most notably mortgaging ALL season ticket revenue AND future incomes e.g. TV/league monies, remain above the club.

With a lack of movement on the transfer front, players wages failing to be paid on time and the cancellation of a pre-season tour for ‘logistical` reasons – it appears there is more to the financial situation than we know, and that once more CCFC are choosing to ‘brush under the carpet` these issues as teething problems rather than admitting the scale of any problems and tackling the issues head on.

Of course, if these really are minor hiccoughs then the club are right not to over-publicise them, although more honesty would be preferable especially with fans left out of pocket having bought tickets to Malaysia. Either way, fans will continue to feel uneasy and keep a very close eye on goings on at the CCS.

summit is up guys its bad news by the looks of things the malaysians need to show their full intent and either buy us out fully which they will have to do anyway as further investment if necessary will have to be approved by the board thus providing TG with more shares probably hittin the trigger for a takeover bid hitting crunch time for the malaysians i reckon otherwise we’ll be facing further winding up orders soon me thinks!!
