Cardiff City FC have now officially sold out Ninian Park for Sunday’s FA Cup glash against Arsenal after tickets went on sale to non-ambassadors this morning. After a frantic couple of hours, all remaing tickets were snapped up.

Arsenal hada lready sold-out their entire allocation, over the 4000 mark and whilst ‘near sell-outs’ have become a regular occurance at Ninian Park recently – this one will be different.

Normally, the club only has 5000 matchday tickets for sale due to the large number of season-ticket holders (courtesy of last season’s road to Wembley). The club is unable to sell on seats from ambassadors who are not attending the game and although attendence has been impressive – there are always gaps.

FA Cup games are not covered by the season ticket so everyone who bought one is fully intending to attend – hardly suprising but interest has been high and Ninian Park looks sure to have a superb and intimidating atmosphere for Arsenal’s visit.

The game has been selected for live TV coverage on Setanta Sports.
