Cardiff City striker Jay Bothroyd has enjoyed one hell of a day after scoring a brace in City’s 4-2 win over Scunthorpe Utd, setting up Chopra for another goal before learning he has been named in Fabio Capello’s squad to face France in an International friendly.
Bothroyd knew he was included in the provisional 30 man squad, after impressing in the Championship and producing the best form of his career. That has now been followed up by his inclusion in the 23 man squad and marks a phenomenal achievement for Jay.
