Cardiff City entertain Norwich City this weekend and will be looking to get a victory over the Canaries in order to further prove our promotion credentials.

Norwich City fans have enjoyed an impressive start to the season, but would surely be content to take a point from the CCS – as they recently did in a trip to league leaders QPR.

A win for Cardiff City would also dampen the spirits of author, comedian and dedicated Norwich City fan Stephen Fry who has been generous in his praise of the City of Cardiff, and maintains strong links with the Welsh Capital. Fry was in attendance (in the Directors box) as the Canaries drew 0-0 with QPR recently

Fry previously stated that Cardiff looked ‘spankingly good’ and that there was ‘much to like’ about the City.

Fry also has very strong links with Cardiff University, working closely with Professor Nick Craddock whilst filming his documentaries on bi-polar disorder. He was also recently made an ‘honourary fellow’ of the University and was guest of honour during the graduation ceremonies over the summer.

A convincing win for Cardiff City over his beloved NCFC is the aim for the Bluebirds this weekend, though if the Canaries were to inflict a first home defeat of the season on us – they would be only three points behind and very handily placed.
