Cardiff City do have some injury concerns ahead of the trip to play Blackpool but influential midfielder Joe Ledley will be available for selection after overcoming a stomach upset. The same is true for Chris Burke who has enjoyed a lively start to the season and will be hoping for a start.

Bad news for the Bluebirds though is some bruising to Gabor Gyepes picked up while on International duty with Hungary. The defender will travel but must face a late fitness test. If ruled out, we would not have cover for 1st choice duo Hudson and Gerrard so Paul Quinn would take over should further injury strike.

Yet another blow for City comes at left back with Kevin McNaughton (ankle) joined on the treatment table by his replacement Mark Kennedy (calf). Tony Capaldi is the likely man to step in, though Miguel Comminges is another option for Dave Jones.

Blackpool FC have their own injury concern with the experienced Danny Coid ruled out with a fractured shinbone. Forward Gary Taylor-Fletcher is a doubt after taking a heavy knock in the midweek Carling Cup game while Welshman Daniel Nardiello is also struggling. However, fellow striker Ben Burgess is likely to be available after a knee injury.

Midfield new boy Charlie Adam is also fit after being given a rest in midweek.
