Cardiff City barely got out of second gear as they dispatched a disappointing QPR side.

Cardiff took the lead after Paul Parry pounced onto a shocking back-pass and squared for Ledley to fire into an empty net.

Hasselbaink was the provider for Ledley’s and Cardiff’s second and the veteran striker later set-up Paul Parry to give Cardiff an insurmountable lead.

QPR did get a goal back in bizarre circumstances when an inoculous cross was fumbled by Cardiff Keeper Michael Oakes straight into a QPR player, the entire crowd was stunned, Oakes may have been fouled in the process but was withdrawn whether from injury or embarrassment and replaced by Peter Enckelman.

A comeback was never on the cards from lacklustre Rangers and a poor second half saw Cardiff amble towards the win and the three points.

Full report to follow tomorrow, another home win, the run continues and next up…..Stoke City.

michael oakes made some super saves, and he is really a good keeper, just needed a chance and with the defence lookin sharpe it also makes him feel more confidence, enckleman made 1 or 2 premership class saves, and im glad he is our backup keeper, cause he is a keeper you expect to see in a botlon team or boro team week in week out
