It’s being reported today that Turkish based side Galatasaray are trying to steal a march on the protracted talks with Inter Milan for Gary Medel and have gazumped their reported offer of 7million Euros by tabling a £10million bid.

With it seeming inevitable that the Chilean World Cup star will move on, and with all the talk of nonsensical loan deals from the San Siro outfit, let alone how long this seems to be taking to reach a fair deal given what we paid for him, and his current stock, if Galatasaray’s offer is genuine and not idle press speak then clearly it would be favoured by the club.

It’s reported that the loan suggestion is the hold up because we want a flat fee and a straight deal, and talks have already been held with the Turkish side over reaching a quicker and more palletable agreement.

The club have confirmed that a release clause doesn’t exist for Medel inspite of our relegation and whilst £10million given his stock is on the low side, it’s far better than the other offer we seem to have.
